Diseases Of The Skin
In general it is impossible to give a comprehensive account of all skin diseases . Here we will discuss about some of the common diseases of skin. Before dealing with individual skin disease we will provide here brief description on different types of skin lesion.
Macules: are flat spots which are not raised above the skin and are usually red or brown in color.
Papules are small raised skin lesions.
Vesicles are very small blisters filled with clear serous fluid.
Bullse are large Vesicles.
Wheal are areas of skin swollen by cedema so that they are a white colour with a red margin.
Crusts or scbs usually result from the dring up of the serum in weeping lesions. And there are many other terms used in skin diseases.
