Hairstyles For a Round Face
The haircut you get depends a lot on your face structure and your bone structure. There is an easy way of determining your face shape. Tie your hair back tightly and then look into the mirror and draw the outline of your face onto the mirror. If your face is almost as wide as it is long, it can be said to be round.
If you have a round face, you need to pay special attention to the haircut you get. A good haircut can enhance the beauty of your face. Whereas a bad haircut can not only make your face look rounder, but also make you look overweight. To get a good haircut that is suited just to you, make sure you visit a good salon that will give you a customised haircut.
The best way to go for a round face is long hair. Hair that goes up to shoulder length or a little beyond is a good length. Slight curls and hair that points outside instead of inward is a good idea. The most important thing to keep in mind while getting a haircut is to get layers. Round faces look best in a much-layered haircut like a shag. Also important is to keep the ends of the locks feathered and wispy.
The good thing about round faces is that most hair lengths suit a round face. The only type of haircut that is a strict no-no for round faced people is the tight bob that ends at the chin. All haircuts that end at the chin add more volume to the face and make it look rounder. People with thick hair and curly hair should especially avoid cuts that end around the chin or a little lower. Bangs and styles that crowd the face are also best avoided.
Whatever is the length of the hair, or the hair quality, the most important thing is to draw attention away from the face. A good haircut not only takes attention away from the roundness of the face, but also gives the face more shape and style. For a round face or a circular face, care needs to be taken while choosing a haircut.
