Regular washing removes sweat,dirt and bacteria.
Getting enough rest is very important as well.
Blemishes often appear due to sleepless nights.
Exercising on regular basis and eating well-ballanced meals
should also be included in your daily routine.
Cosmetics should be used with care, as they can clog pores.


Some ingredients may irritate the skin.If you notice any signs of irritation,
you should better change to a different type of make-up.
Speaking of cosmetics, perhaps it is not a bad idea to try homemade ones.
They are both cheap and healthy.


Wash your face with a gentle cleanser.
Rub a cotton ball saturated with witch hazel over your face.
Then spread a thin coat of a 2% salicylic acid.
Repeat the cleansing and witch hazel steps,
then dab 2.5% benzoil peroxide over the entire face.
These steps will help unclog the pores,
kill the bacteria and leave your skin clean and refreshed.

Apply some cooked oatmeal to the face for 15 minutes and wash off.
Oatmeal is an astringent,which can help draw impurities out of the skin.
It usually takes a week or two for results to be seen.


Make a solution of 30 drops of grapefruit seed extract in 4 ounces of water.
Apply to infected area with a cotton ball 3 times a day.
This is an excellent disinfectant.

Make a mixture of 1/4 tomato, 1 tsp mashed cucumber,
2 tsp plain yoghurt, 2 tsp aloe gel,
2 mint leaves and 3 tsp Oatmeal powder.
Apply to your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water.


A quick remedy: Apply either apple cider vinegar
or lemon juice to a clean skin, using a cotton ball.
This will help flush out the pores and normalize the skin's pH.


Use the pulp of the aloe vera plant as a skin cleanser.
If you prefer aloe juice, you can use it
to counteract infection and promote healing.
Apply it morning and night for as long as necessary to improve skin's complexion.


As you know, blemished skin just can't be smooth.
There is a treatment you may wish to try.
Make a mixture of 1 cup plain yoghurt and juice of 1/2 lemon.
Apply it as a cream every night before bed.
The effects on this should be seen after 3-4 weeks.


• To help dry out the acne without drying out your face,
rub cucumber peel ( wet side up) and leave on overnight.
• Another good mask: Combine 1 egg white
and 1 tsp lemon juice. Rinse off after 30 minutes.
• Mix 2 tsp cornstarch with 1 tsp vinegar,
apply on acned area for 30 minutes, then wash off
with washcloth and warm water.
• Avoid foods containing trans-fatty acids.
• Eliminate sodas and artificial sweeteners.
• Avoid fried foods, as this may cause the appearance of acne.
• Reduce milk consumption, as it may aggravate acne.
• Avoid chocolate, tea and coffee.
• Reduce the consumption of junk food, limit your total
fat intake to no more than 20% of calories for acne free skin.
