Lemon Mint Elbow Bleach

Lemon Mint Elbow Bleach

While taking care of our hands, we often forget the elbows, which can leave them looking darker, rough and patchy. The skin on and around our elbows does not have any oil glands due to which they tend to become dry and darken faster than the skin on other parts of our body.

The Lemon Mint Elbow Bleach is an excellent homemade remedy that cleans the build up of dirt on our elbows and makes them clean and soft. This recipe uses two of the most effective natural ingredients: Lemon juice, an effective natural bleach and Mint, an aromatic, soothing astringent.

Ingredients for making Lemon Mint Elbow Bleach
  • ½ Lemon
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 tbspn Peppermint powder or a handful of fresh mint leaves

How to Prepare Lemon Mint Elbow Bleach

  • Boil peppermint in ½ cup of water.
  • Separate the water from the herb by straining it.
  • Add the lemon juice to this strained Mint water.
  • Mix thoroughly.

How to Apply Lemon Mint Elbow Bleach

  • Dip a cotton wool or pad in the mixture and apply to the elbow.
  • Leave the mixture on to dry for about 15 minutes.
  • Wash off with warm water.
  • Massage the elbow with moisturizer or warm olive oil.
