The Right Size Snowboard

View:
When it comes to choosing the right breast size, here's the most important thing to remember. You aren't having this surgery to get someone notice or not notice your fuller figure. You are doing this so you look great in a swimsuit or that little black dress.

You are doing this for your self-esteem. You are doing this for you, so what someone else thinks shouldn't influence your decisions.

So how do you choose the right breast implant size for you?

First off, the many surgeons don't like to refer to implant sizes as bra cup sizes. In fact, many surgeons refuse to use bras as a way to measure any bust increase. Bra cup measurements vary so much from one style to another and different bras fit and function differently. So what you think a C cup is may not be what you envisioned.

Your breast augmentation procedure isn't like following the latest fashion trend. In other words, unlike a fashion trend where everyone rushes out to get theirs, how large is enough for you shouldn't be based on what someone else thinks is attractive.

The exact same implant can look very different on various women. That's because your implant is a combination of your body size and shape, plus what you had to begin with, plus what you decide to add.

When you go for your consultation, bring along a bathing suit top, dresses, tops, any of your favorite clothing items so that you get an excellent example of how your new breast implants are going to look. It's the best way to see what works. Visualization is a powerful tool.

As we mentioned, a cup size doesn't always translate to the measurement you have in mind. It's much better to use a sample implant and be able to actually see how it looks in your clothes.

Keeping this in mind, a C cup may not always be a C, but 300 cubic centimeters (the way silicone and saline fillings are measured) is as simple as it gets because there's no guesswork. It's either what you want or not. If it isn't, then you try another cc.

Many surgeons will recommend that you go one larger than what you like in the mirror to accommodate the small amount your breast implants will settle.

You and your surgeon will discuss the pros and cons of various sizes and types of implants. Information is power, so the more information you have the happier you will be with your final decision.

The perfect breast size is in the eye of the beholder and the right breast implant size for you is entirely up to you - what you see and like, what makes you feel whole and sexy, and what gives you the boost you were looking for.
