Exercises are the last option to treat hair loss. In most of cases, scalp exercises are used to prevent hair loss.

Patients should do massage the scalp with the fingers. This will feed the roots of the hair with the nutrients of needed and increase the blood circulation.

The following things are done by Scalp exercise:

  • It is useful to promote the new capillaries growth in scalp tissue. It may help to strengthens the capillaries walls which are nourished the hair follicles.

Theories for scalp exercise

First theory

The whole scalp may be suffused with blood after five minutes of the scalp exercise. There can be lymph fluid and quicker blood flow into the epicranial area. This lymph fluid and quicker blood flow into the whole scalp may flush out metabolic waste products. The inflammation around the follicles can be eliminated by this exercise.

Second theory

This exercise has stimulating effect on the hair follicles. It may help to remove wrinkles from the forehead. It has also stimulating effect on adjacent area to the muscles in the scalp.

Third theory

It has a very useful effect on the hair cycle. The hair follicles are keeping by this exercise in the growing stage of the cycle. This procedure is also known as homeostasis. After the exercise, the hair follicles become normal, natural and healthy. And the body maintains a healthy equilibrium with proper diet, proper exercise and proper health habits.

Fourth theory

During the scalp exercise, this increases the flow of blood and movement of the whole scalp.
