Cedarwood and Juniper AFTER SHAVE Balm
Out of all the essential oils, cedarwood is the most popular amongest men and is much used in men's toiletries. The astringent and antiseptic properties of cedarwood, together with its masculine aroma, make it an abvious choice for a homemade after shave.
1 tbsp (20ml) high proof vodka
8 drops cedarwood
6 drops cypress
3 drops juniper
4 tbsp (50ml) witch hazel
6 tbsp (100ml) orange flower water
- Pour the vodka into a 7 oz (200ml) glass bottle. Carefully add the essential oil, one by one, and shake vigorously until the oils have dissolved.
- Add the witch hazel and shake well. Then add the orange flower water and shake again.
- Label the bottle and the after shave is ready to use.
- Make sur to shake the bottle befor using each time to disperse the oil.
