Laser Vein Removal

Laser Vein Removal

Thread Vein Removal and Spider Vein Removal Treatment

Thread veins, often known as spider veins or dermal flares, are fine veins that can be seen through the skin mainly on the face, legs, as well as other more sensitive areas of the body. This problem often runs in families or may develop following an injury to the leg. They are often the source of itching or aching after prolonged standing. Although unsightly they are harmless and the majority of these veins can be successfully treated.

The Moll Clinic has been involved in laser vein removal for several years, and has been successfully registered with the Healthcare Standards Agency. We use the latest laser technology to destroy unsightly small spider/thread veins so that they fade and slowly disappear. The process is relatively painless being described as a brief stinging sensation.

No anaesthesia or pain medication is required. Short term side effects include slight reddening of the skin or local swelling which disappears in a few days. Several treatments may be required depending upon the severity and density of the vessels. You can resume normal activities immediately following a treatment.
