How to create Homemade Hair Spray?
Lemon Hair Spray
Chop one lemon (or an orange for dry hair). Place in a pot with 2 cups water. Boil until half of the initial amount remains. Cool, strain, and place in a spray bottle. Store in the refrigerator. If it is too sticky, add more water. Add one ounce rubbing alcohol as a preservative and then the spray can be stored for up to two weeks unrefrigerated.
Sugar-Oil hair spray
The ingredients required to make this hair spray are 1-tablespoon sugar, one-cup hot purified water, one-tablespoon vodka (optional), and three to five drops of oil.
In a pan add sugar and water. Boil water and make it sure that the sugar dissolves in water. Add oil and vodka.
Homemade Hair Spray Tips
Adding 1 oz. of rubbing alcohol to the spray bottle will allow you to store your homemade hair spray unrefrigerated for 2 weeks.
Add water to the hair spray any time it becomes too thick.
Apple Cider Softening Hair Rinse
Mix 1-2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar with 3 cups distilled water.Pour over your hair as the final rinse. It will leave your hair feeling soft. Good for all hair types.
