Kate Winslet Loves Every Inch Of The Skin She's In Wearing A Victoria Beckham Design For U.S. Glamour Magazine

While many women suffer the agonising torment of body issues, Hollywood super-star, Kate Winslet is having none-of-it….

Speaking in the April edition of U.S. Glamour magazine, the gorgeous actress is also proud to announce that she has no intention of going down the plastic surgery road just to keep up her appearance either, adding:

“No, I have never tried any stuff.

“I don’t have parts of my body that I hate or would like to trade for somebody else’s or wish I could surgically adjust into some fantasy version of what they are” but despite her glowing confidence, the star hasn’t always been so mega-happy about her looks:

“When I was heavy, people would say to me, and it was such a backhanded compliment….

“You’ve got such a beautiful face!

“In the way of, like, ‘Oh isn’t it a shame that from the neck down you’re questionable.’

In the interview with Glamour Magazine, Kate also recalls the moment when she won her best actress Oscar in 2009:

“I was the kid who never won the races.

“I never jumped the highest.

“I wasn’t on the list of the high-achieving.

“Winning the Oscar was like winning all the prizes in one single night that I had never won as a kid.

“For me, it was an internal-fist-pumping moment of yes!”

The gorgeous 35-year-old and mother to Mia (10) and Joe (7), believes that the Oscar didn’t change her aims and desires as an actress, and although she hadn’t planned on being ‘famous’ has gone on to become a world-famous household name.

The star has had her fair share of ups and downs and despite splitting from her husband of six years, film director Sam Mendes, confesses that:

“The highest compliment I could ever receive is about my kids.

“The challenge is making sure that my children are never treated differently just because I am sometimes.

“I always want them to know that when we fly first class, as we most frequently do, that they are lucky.

“When the in-flight crew said to me, ‘You’re children are wonderful. They are so well behaved’, I could weep.”

And now, thanks to Cheryl’s revelations, many retailers are making sure that they have plenty of the 60-year-old skin cream stocked on their shelves.

With high-street chain Superdrug selling more than 20,000 E45 skin products each week, their skincare buyer, Joanna Hutton said:

“While new technological super-products come and go, there’s nothing like an old favourite like E45 which doesn’t need to promise to change your life, just moisturise your skin wonderfully.

“We know from previous experience that when Cheryl Cole gives a beauty product the okay then sales can rocket.

“We’re expecting even more customers than ever will put aside their fancy creams and pick up E45, and we will be rushing more stock out to stores to cope with the stress of demand.”

Speaking on behalf of the skin cream E45:

“To hear that Cheryl Cole uses E45 as a moisturiser of choice is very exciting.

“In today’s overcrowded hi-tech products, E45′s strength lies in its trusted non-greasy formula which offers an effective way to keep the skin soft and healthy.”

So with E45 on sale in retailers for as little as £2?

Go on girls say it:

"Dodgy" London Weather Ideal For

"Dodgy" London Weather Ideal For

of the most desired of the things in a woman's life and now experts say that the "dodgy" rainy climate of London just ideal for growing beautiful nails.

The conclusions of this study conducted by the Manchester University (MU) scientists, holds the sparks to revolutionize the the entire glamour world.

According to the researchers, who spend months examining the tension and strength of discarded clippings, they found that the rainy climate could boost the growth of healthy nails.

The MU researchers Stephen Eichhorn and Roland Ennos said that the key factor in growing the healthiest of nails was humidity. In conditions were there was less humidity, the nails become brittle and break easily, while too much of it could make the nails susceptible to a catastrophic degree of twisting and possible shearing.

We have found that fingernails cope remarkably well over a range of humidities. But it is best not to get them completely dry or completely wet.
However, the scientists adjusted the optimum level of ideal humidity at 55 per cent, a level that translates to normal atmospheric conditions in Britain. "The mechanical properties of fingernails are important because of their impact in preventing damage and in maintaining their appearance," the Telegraph quoted Ennos as saying.

"In particular, knowing the effect of local environmental conditions can tell us how they might best be protected, " he added.

It is known that nails are more flexible and, therefore, easier to trim after a hot bath. "We have found that fingernails cope remarkably well over a range of humidities. But it is best not to get them completely dry or completely wet. At an average of 55 per cent humidity, which is what you would experience normally, it appears that nails have optimum mechanical properties and resist bending," said Eichhorn.
