Yogurt Body Mask
Yogurt body mask is a popular homemade body mask that moisturizes, hydrates and soothes you skin. If you lead a busy life style and do not find the time for regular visits to beauty salons or spas for indulging in some body pampering treatments, do not fret! A yogurt body mask is prepared using homemade products that leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth and relaxed.
Ingredients for Yogurt Body Mask
- 3 Tablespoon Honey
- 1/4 Cup Yogurt
- Carrots- 2 (medium sized) or,
Ripe Pumpkin-15 oz.* can
* About 425g.
Optional (for the Honey Oatmeal Scrub)-
- Oatmeal Powder-2 tbsp
- Honey-2 tsp
- Toned Milk-1 tbsp
Preparation of Yogurt Body Mask
To prepare the yoghurt body mask, follow the steps:- Boil the carrots or the pumpkin till they become soft.
- Puree the carrot or the pumpkin in a blender.
- Mix the pureed pumpkin or carrots thoroughly with the yoghurt and the honey to form a smooth, even paste.
Application of Yogurt Body Mask
- Apply the yoghurt body mask all over yourself. Apply it in a thin, even layer. Allow it to dry. (This will take about 15 minutes.)
- After the specified time take a shower.
- You may use oatmeal and honey scrub to scrub your body. But this is optional.
- Mix the oatmeal powder, milk and honey to form a smooth, even paste.
- Wash off the yogurt body mask and apply the scrub to your body. Wait for 2 minutes.
- Moisten your palms with water; remove the scrub with gentle but firm, rotatory movements of your hands.
- Complete your shower.
- Pat yourself dry with a bath towel.
- Use a body lotion after the shower.
