How to Pick Glitter Eye Shadow
February 5th, 2011Well, you have to start by selecting the right color of-course. To be safe, pick a color close to your skin tone or a color that matches your dress.
If you want to apply multiple colors, make sure the colors blend well. If you have a darker skin tone, gold looks better than silver, but if you have a lighter tone silver looks better than gold.
You must also take into consideration the color of your eyes. Its always a good idea to match the colors. For example, if you have blue eyes, a shade of blue will look good on you. If you have light brown eyes, you can use earthly colors like brown and green. If your eyes are dark brown, you can go with navy blue and cream glitter. Black and light pink look good on hazel eyes. Brown, dark green, and dark purple look good on green eyes.
Apply glitter along the lower and upper eye lashes. You can also apply them on the inner corners of the eyes. If you want a more flagrant look you can apply the glitter on the upper eye lid. You can use two different colors, but not more. Three colors look bad.
